A Roblox experience that groups creator-made avatar items into complete, purchasable outfits. I built the custom interface, purchase tracking, and analytics behind it.
Players could shop complete looks assembled from matching creator-made items. Funnel analytics showed where they dropped off, while telemetry exposed latency from fetching assets through the catalog API.
Persistent data and purchases DataStore kept player data across sessions. I also built atomic purchase tracking and funnel analytics to measure player engagement and revenue.
Shopping flow I made mannequins clickable for individual try-ons, kept Quick Buy visible on mobile, and added basket feedback and safeguards after tracking empty checkout attempts. Players could also buy a whole outfit while exploring the world.
Asset delivery I started with live API requests, then cached the responses. When caching still left noticeable latency, I pre-baked the assets into the game so clients could load them as needed without live catalog requests for those assets.
